The “Turkish Get-Up” is an example of an exercise that requires strength, symmetry, balance, coordination, stabilization of the core and mobility of the ankles, hips, thoracic spine. It is one of the best exercises that works in all three “planes” of movement and is used for not only a foundational exercise for functional movement but as a rehabilitation and integration exercise post surgery/injury and post therapy.
